It was such a pleasure to bring characters from my imagination into vector and then seeing it come alive through Adrianna’s magical animations - we understand each other artistically and have the same sense of humor so we had a lot of fun fleshing out the world together.

I got to work with Katherine on the sounds, together based on the designs created we found the perfect voice actors for each character and maintained good working relationships with each of them.

Concept

I contributed to the visual and experiential design of the product across physical and digital touchpoints, including character expression development, interface and interaction visuals, packaging, and exhibition materials. The work focused on building a cohesive visual language that felt warm, intuitive, and engaging across both screen-based and physical environments. The design approach centered on creating a companion experience that felt approachable, expressive, and emotionally engaging for children while remaining clear and intuitive for caregivers. Visual decisions balanced playfulness with simplicity, ensuring that expressions, on-device interactions, and surrounding materials supported curiosity, comfort, and ease of use. Because the product existed across multiple contexts — in the home, on screen, and in public-facing demonstrations — the visual system needed to translate consistently between interface design, physical packaging, and exhibition environments. Each touchpoint was designed to reinforce a sense of warmth, personality, and trust, supporting imaginative play and everyday interaction.
